New Wave: Everyday Objects Swept Away in a Tsunami of Recycled Magazines

Scottish sculptor David Mach creates massive installations, in which he envelops discarded objects in waves of carefully folded old magazines. It’s as if he’s pitted the power of nature against the power of consumerism, and it’s anybody’s guess which will win. One thing is certain: his work is bold, powerful, and incredible to behold.
